imageJoseph Conrad, Managing DVM
Dr. Conrad grew up in Covington, Georgia. He received his Bachelor of Science degree and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia. Following veterinary school, he completed a one-year small animal rotating internship and a one-year small animal surgery and anesthesia internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. His professional interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, minimally-invasive laparoscopic surgery, anesthesia, neurology, and internal medicine. Dr. Conrad lives in Missoula with his wife, Dana, their daughter, Penelope, and their son, Gus. They have 2 dogs, Puck, and Otter, and a cat named Oliver. When he isn’t working, Dr. Conrad loves to spend time with his family traveling and enjoying all the fun outdoor activities that Montana has to offer.

Shoni Card, DVM, CCRP
Dr. Card received her DVM degree from Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. She has been with the Pruyn Veterinary Hospital since that time. Dr. Card is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) from the University of Tennessee's College of Veterinary Medicine. Her veterinary interests include avian and exotic medicine, rehabilitation, and chemotherapy cancer treatment.

Dr. Kaitie

Kaitlynn Ivory, DVM 
Dr. Ivory grew up in western Washington in a house full of pets. She graduated from Whitman College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Walla Walla, WA in 2014, and stayed in eastern Washington to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University in 2019. Her veterinary interests include surgery, dermatology, client education and preserving the human-animal bond. When she's not at the clinic, she enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and dancing. She's excited to be living in Missoula with her two dogs Sully and June.

Samantha Mitchell, DVM
Dr. Mitchell graduated with a B.A. from the University of Montana in 2013 (go Griz!) and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2018. Her professional interests include dentistry, ophthalmology, rehabilitation, and internal medicine. She is very excited to be back in Missoula and when she's not at the clinic she loves spending time with her dog, cat, and partner Sean. 


Anna Odash, DVM
Dr. Odash grew up in Western Washington before heading to the eastern side of the state for school. She earned a dual degree from Eastern Washington University and Washington State University in Nursing and worked as an RN for 5 years, mostly in the pediatric field, prior to returning to Washington State University to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional passions include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, emergency and critical care medicine and working with owners to provide individualized care for their pets' specific needs. Dr. Odash lives in Missoula with her 2 labradors, Dixie and Drake and 2 orange fluffballs, Pumpkin and Juice. In her free time she enjoys skiing, fly-fishing, camping, hiking, sports and traveling the world.

T Prine

Tricia Prine, DVM 
Dr. Prine (no relation to the Pruyn family, just a funny coincidence) grew up in rural Florida on a horse farm where her love of working with and caring for animals sprouted. She went on to graduate with her veterinary degree from Ross University, with a clinical year at the University of Florida, in 2010. She has traveled extensively over the past few years moving from Florida to Alaska, New Hampshire back to Florida, and once more back to Alaska. While traveling through Montana, she fell in love with the Bitterroot Valley and is now calling it home! Her veterinary interests include surgery, ophthalmology, dentistry, urgent care, and preventative care. She lives with her fiancé and 3 dogs. In her free time she enjoys horseback riding, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, camping, and pretty much anything outdoors!

Katie Welch, DVM
Dr. Welch came to us from Three Forks Montana where her love for veterinary medicine sparked on her family ranch. She achieved her B.S in biotechnology at Montana Stare University in 2014. She continued on to complete her DVM at Washington State University, graduating in 2018. Her professional interests include surgery, rehabilitation, and comprehensive client education. When not hard at work, Katie enjoys spending time outdoors, rain and snow with her three dogs and husband Cody.

Dr. Caide

McCaide "Caide" Wooten, DVM 
Dr. Wooten earned his veterinary degree from North Carolina State University where he focused in zoological medicine. His professional interests include management of chronic pain states, optimization of anesthesia, implementation of integrative therapies, exotic animal medicine (especially fish, birds, and honeybees!), wildlife rehabilitation, client education, and making clinic visits as low-stress as possible for his patients. Dr. Wooten lives in Missoula with his dog Paulo and cat Bonnie. He enjoys exploring the outdoors, fly fishing, cycling, rock climbing, running, and playing baseball/softball.

Annie Wright, DVM, DACVECC
Dr. Wright earned her Veterinary Doctorate from the University of Montreal in 2000. She is also a Board Certified Criticalist and a member of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care since 2006. Her professional interests include the treatment of shock, acute renal failure, electrolyte disturbances and critically ill cats. She is published in the Journal of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care and has written chapters in several Small Animal Textbooks. Throughout her career she has been involved in the medical care of working dogs. She also works nationally to provide emergency medical training of operational K9s to military and federal law enforcement medics and handlers. She strives to assure the good health of the working K9s so they can perform their important duties. Dr. Wright lives in Missoula with her husband and two children. They have one dog, Angie and 2 cats, Red and Blueberry. She loves the outdoors, running, riding her bike and crafting.
